Biomonitoring
The use of biological monitoring methods to complement more traditional physical and chemical monitoring techniques is an important element of WWW’s research and outreach programs.
World Water Watch develops methods for integrating physical, chemical and biological monitoring data and information into guidance and rules (Technology and Tools: Knowledge-based Systems). These rules are then incorporated into improved watershed design and operation methods
Current projects AMZnet, Project CONDOR and Okeechobee/Everglades include both traditional and emerging biological monitoring methods. WWW’s expert pool (expert pool) includes several individuals with extensive experience in biological monitoring and wastewater treatment methods.
